I would suggest sending a copy of the interaction and text messages to the NHLPA and see what they do. I know that they are always pressing the players to accommodate fans and to be ambassadors of the sport at all times. A copy to the NHL head office as well as his team would not hurt either. There is no reason for players to act like a tool but some let the fame go to their heads. I work for Scott Thornton and he is a super stand up guy that has all the time in the world for people and was the same way when he was a player. It's really too bad that more players don't act the same way.

there are alot of decent guys in NHL but I can tell you from personal experience Cleary is a ****. He always has been and always will be. The best way to stay a fan of a particular player is to never meet them.

Agreed!!! Meeting one of your faves can ruin things, but also meeting your idols can also be amazing if they are nice and realize that they are just people too. I love reading those stories... I also love reading these stories too. I don't know a thing about Cleary. I feel bad about who the whole "Ultimate Cleary Experience" was advertised.

They didn't get was promised,,, false advertising as simple as that.

While I was reading and got to the part where Cleary called, I was expecting him to be very kind and understanding and then he just became a turbo douche haha.
