I like to think of him (Matthews) as an invisible superstar. Some nights he's invisible. Some nights he's a superstar. Once he realizes that when you are highest paid player on the team, you probably need to bring it every game. He'll get it figured out. Too much talent to not be up there in the top 10 in league scoring every year. The Leafs have so much talent, but they just don't understand that if you take a shift off, you'll likely be a -1, so fast. If they want to learn what it's like to be a dominant player, they should take notes from Zach Hyman. he brings it every shift. Never stops competing, just a pleasure to watch.
