ITG's Canadiana set

Setting the bar very high, some of the personalities are impossible.

Unfortunately, I am told that Rick Moranis is not well, I will be continue to pursue him for the product but when we did the Dave Thomas signing, Dave said that Rick might not be available.

Some of the cuts are also very difficult, some I have been it have been looking for for almost two years when I first planned the project.

But that's what makes this business fun, trying to sign the difficult personalities and find the difficult cuts.

Keep in mind that many of these personalities cannot be motivated by money, they have so much and they are sheltered by agents and lawyers who are paid to say "no".

I guess that's why I love the challenge. Dunruss had Americana so ITG needed to do Canadiana.

How about a Gord Downie/Bill Barilko dual auto? Kudos if you could find a Dr Henry Hudson....

WOW that would be the best card in the product hands down!

i'd really Hope that one gets made....how sweet would that be.....

i guess one name i see missing....Dan Ackroyd(spelling?)

he's a local guy and somewhat a personal favorite....i've heard of both good and bad stories about him....but i know a local customer/radio host was able to get him down for a charity auction....so it may just depend when you catch him....

thanks again Brian for the cool product.....really looking forward to this one....

thanks, Geoff

I have no doubt that some individuals would have no interest in signing anything, but hey it's cool to talk about accomplished Canadians and it's a great idea for a non-sport set. Something I'll definitely pick up.

Romeo Dallaire

Canadian news anchors that made it big in the US such as Peter Jennings

Daniella Evangelista
Natasha Henstridge
Sarah McLachlan
Howie Mandel
Kids in the Hall

Todd McFarlane

I'd like to see a Stompin' Tom Conners card done. Maybe part of a Canadian Musicians subset. Include the Hip, Rush, Neil Young.

Some past Olympians could be Horst Bulau, Steve Podborski & the rest of the Crazy Canucks.

Foster Hewitt. I'd be all over that one. Same with Ron Mclean.

and some other sportcasters? TSN, HNIC, and radio from each major Canadian city.

CFL Legends? SCTV cast would be awesome.

Some key ethnic figures could be interesting.

How about a cut auto of Roderick Haig-Brown. He was one of Canada's top authors on fishing and environmental issues.

I'm stoked to see there's a Tom Conners auto, I'll be hunting that one down as well as the set.

How about Bob Izumi?

What about a triple auto of the Trailer Park Boys? Saw the post by Bubbles and made me think that would be a cool card.

Since I have to admit some ignorance in the knowledge of which actors are actually from Canada I went ahead and looked it up.

William Shatner would be awesome addition to the set....I am sure his there are many fans of his work in Star Trek or more recent stuff....and that is one auto I might consider picking up...While I am not as likely to purchase unopened product there might be others I pieces would consider making a trade for or buying

Lets have a Corner gas card!!! You know we want one.

How about some history related stuff?

Private Timothy O'Hea VC, only VC won in Canada.

How about a Marconi card with a piece of the cable? (I know this is avaliable!!!)

Trivial Pursuit invented by you guys too? how about a question card from the game signed by the inventor?
