While Timothy O'Hea was not Canadian, he is the only person to be awarded a Victoria Cross for actions IN Canada.

Just wanted to clear that up; I'm certain the OP was aware of this, but the details may not have been clear of what he was expressing. I'm not sure it represents the Canadiana aspect that ITG is going for though...
