Anybody else i would feel sorry for the guy, but this actually gave me huge smile of satisfaction.
 
Love it. He's definately a player that deserves to be on the losing side of something like that. Good that he wasn't hurt beyond the knockout though.
 
Probably wouldnt have happened if Sid didnt send EVERYONE (but himself, although that was a nice Cross-check) on the team after Kane for playing physical. Theres the playoff gameplan. Hit Sid and hope the team goes braindead.

I'd like to take a moment to thank Mr Evander Kane. What you did last night made all hockey fans very happy. Mr Matt "gutless puke" Cooke has been in need of a punch in the face for a looooong time. Your delivery was flawless and the result was priceless. It will forever be remembered as the best KO of 2009-2010. Today, YOU are the man!

Is Kane going to face any disciplanary action for fighting with a taped hand? I'm not sure, but I thought there was a rule against it. Is there? I remember something like that happening earlier in the season.

That has gotta be one of the best TKOs I have ever seen.

47.15 Match Penalty - Any player or goalkeeper wearing tape or any other material on his hands (below the wrist) who cuts or injures an opponent during an altercation will receive a match penalty in addition to any other penalties imposed including for fighting under this rule.

I think Rick Rypien got nailed by this rule after taping his thumb before a fight with Janssen
