hi everybody , my name is yan and my user name on ebay is 67nashfan , i buy the 07/08 ultimate gretzky premium patch 11/25 couple of week ago , im a little bit confuse because you put this card on the fake patch list ??? maybe you are right but do you have a good reason to say that or a picture showing the original card ?? i am a honest buyer /seller and i hate the people who change the patch its not good for the hobby , i need explanation on this card because i dont want to sell or trade a fake patch and i dont want to put this card in garbage if its a real one ! thanks to let me know you opinion on this card

I dont understand why this guy (Wolverine) exaggerated hes card values all the times. There can be 80$ value on card and real value is 20$. Ebay guys dont do anything.

most of fakes look pretty good.

The bobby Lu one looks sick...my jaw would have dropped and it doesn't scream fake to you...it looks kind of legit.

The Cary Price and Kane ones are pretty bad though. They just don't look right.

and I can't believe they fake Jamie McGinn and Nigel Dawes...seriously

I do not think that the Joe Mullen The Cup Limited Logos is a fake patch. i personnally pulled a similar patch with Dale Hawerchuk from the same product same year. Do you have a scan of the original confirming it is a fake or just because the patch looks awesome

I contacted the SELLER of this card and told him it was listed as being fake last year on many hockey boards. Said he may have been unaware of that, if he purchased/traded for it recently. It may have changed hands a lot. Who knows?

He answered back with:

While I appreciate the heads-up. There are no signs of tampering near or around the patch. Without evidence, there is no clear way of telling. It is however on a "cup" card where there are many logo patches...hence the name "limited logos". I have been doing cards for 27-yrs & am quite certain its good. Thanks Though!

He probably got it after multiple changes of hands after that first eBay sale back in July 2009.

Just want people to be aware in case they were interested in it. Just too much fake patchwork going on with these large patch Cup cards.

I saw that as well - but I am not sure that it is fake.
Is sc_legends confirmed as another Kenny ID???

My reasoning........ Take a look at my recent pick-up from Mark (LogoPatchCards) on Ebay from his case break.
