Hey there,

I don't post often, but I do enjoy the show and tells and mail day posts and try to visit here as often as I can.

Today I finally finished my Ondej Pavelec PC website. Yup, just in time for his retirement lol. I was working on the site a few years back, but my father passed away and I have been just pummeled by work on his estate trying to get the farm ready to sell and haven't had much time for the collection updating. I have been picking up cards, but the scanning and adding it to the website ended in 2016.

Anyway, please take a look, check out my wantlist and see if you are able to help me out. I am so close to finishing the checklist. Any comments or suggestions on what I can do to improve the website, please let me know. I'm no professional website builder, but I'll do my best to listen to suggestions. I still have a bunch of photo editing to do, but I'll eventually get to it. I just wanted the site to go live.

Take a look here please. http://www.ondrejpavelec.ca

Thanks for your time
Cheers

Oh wow, I'm going to enjoy checking this out. I think I remember your last website, so this is going to be so fun seeing all your additions since then.

I'll also check out your wantlist as well so I can keep an eye out for you or help you add some cards to your list if I can.

Keep up the great work on your Pavelec PC !

Awesome site and collection! Love those old Trashers jerseys. Lots of stuff to chase with Panini added to the mix!

Thanks everyone. I'm glad you like it. It needed to see the light of day again. It's not fun having it hidden from the people who appreciate this hobby. Nice to be able to see it again myself lol.

I've perused you site as well. I like the layout and you have some sweet cards on there as well.

Thank you!!

Just went through your entire site... and wow! So much amazing cards. I didn't know Pavs had that many cards produced of him. Your dedication is inspiring! I can't believe you only need 5 cards remaining on your wantlist to complete all of the non-1/1's. That is super.

My favourites are those Czech issued cards. It's always so unique seeing cards from somewhere in Europe, as their designs are always super unique. And not to mention the game-worn gear.... dude :)

Checked your site, your collection is superb!! So many very nice cards, and like that high gloss hoarding too!:D

Congratulations and all the best for finding your remaining cards from your checklist;)

Greetings Helge

Thanks again everyone. Let me know if something isn't working on there or if you have any tips on what I should improve. I'm glad the collection is live on the web finally after so many years of being off line. Cheers

I've had an awesome time going through this (multiple times I might add).

Why did you start super collecting Ondrej Pavelec?

Good to hear. I had a large Tretiak collection and started to get disappointing with all the cards coming out with the same photos being used and the same designs etc.. So I decided to sell the Tretiak collection and look for something else.

I, being Czech, was at the LCS and the guy behind the counter said, and I quote "Hey, Pavelec is Czech, you should start collecting him!". So I checked into his stats, and since there are not too many Czech goalies in the NHL, started collecting him. That was it, game over lol. And now it's out of hand! But it's been fun.

I screwed up and missed two of the /5 cards in my wantlist. I don't know how I missed them, but I did, and it bugs me until today. Hopefully they will resurface sometime. However, until the checklist complete, I'll keep looking. I think the hardest one will be the BTP /9. Lots of collectors are trying to complete that set, so I don't see that one popping up anytime soon.

Again, I'm glad I could finally get them online for everyone to see. It's not the same when you can not share it with people that enjoy the hobby.

Cheers
