Agreed, but lets do a comparison.
Colby Armstrong a right winger gets 3yrs. and 3M per year. Last year he had 15 goals and 14 assists.

Manny Malhotra a center gets 3yrs. and 2.5M per year. Last year he had 14 goals and 19 assists, plus he is a great face-off guy.

Yeah the no trade is a bit worrying but he's only 30 years old.

The bigger question is what happens with Cody Hodgson?

Not sure why Meszaros is so high on people's list, he's been bounced around for a reason. As for the Flyers, O'Donell cancels out any upgrade people might think they are getting from Meszaros......

If the Hawks can keep Hjalmarsson, I still think the Hawks have the best core four with Keith, Seabrook, Campbell, and Hjalmarsson. I would gladly take those four over any other teams top four.

Love the Canucks signing of Maholtra, perfect addition to that team, and Ballard was huge, they are making smart additions to key spots.
