No Joke....I have been robbed

Very sorry to hear man. I ****ing HATE thieves, I hope they catch the scumbags or someone beats the crap out of them.

Must be someone who're aware of your collection, I dealt with an another seller in last year but he also got suddenly robbed by his whole collection, he had also a very impressive high-end collection like yours.

This just really sucks big-time, appears that more and more gets their cards/collections robbed from our home, mailboxes, or in any other ways....they ineed have no shames!

Just hope that they'll showing up at ebay or somewhere so....

Such a shame. I truly hope the person(s) are apprehended and you press charges. Even if that doesn't happen, I hope we can at least find some of them on the web. Keep us updated.

Sorry to read of your misfortune. It sounds like the work of an idiot and loser, because if there were a bunch of 1/1s involved how do they intend to ever move them.

Hey Dean,
Really sorry about this. If there is anything I can do, just say the word.

When time passes and you want to get your collection going again, let me know. Wouldn't mind breaking into the PC to give you a small head start.

All the best to you!

Dan

So sad to hear about this Dean.

An ALERT has been added to the main page and a link to this thread in the Hot Topics section.

Try to add some scans of some big cards to your original post in this thread so people can start watching for some of your cards to show up.

Chances are unless a pile of stuff was stolen they knew about your collection. St. John's is a small place word gets around fast. With so many rare and numbered items it will be tough for anyone to sell them locally or online. Post a list online and with the local shops and market guys and I am sure they will resurface. Sad news!!!

The word travels fast. Everyone has been so kind and wishing the best. No one deserves to go through this, It's awful. That being said something has to break. Our hobby is too small and the police have stuff to work with

As you can see some of these pieces will be very hard to move.Thank you to all who can help me and hopefully everything works out. Ya gotta believe

Very sorry to hear about your loss, our house was broken into just over a year ago. An easy way to lose your sense of security. Hope all works out in the end

Dean!! OMG I'm so sorry!!.. just reading all that. I have a knot in my stomach for you!.
Some people are absolutely ignorant!!. Its sad that people have to stoop so low to commit such a horrible act. I hope you can get some help with the law to help find the creep(s) that did this! Good luck

Check and see these are likely covered under your insurance. Even better that you have a list and pictures.

The responses have been amazing from all....here,all sites, local collectors. Thank you and you gotta believe something will break on this. I've updated the scans again and will comtinue to do so for the procedure I will about to go though with local insurance

man that sucks! I hope they find the scumbags that did it & recover all your goodies that you're missing. Our great justice system will likely do very little to them after the fact but it would be nice to get back what is rightfully yours.

Damn, Dean.....I just heard.

I'm really sorry to hear that your collection was looted. Makes you wonder what happened to the good old days, when we were kids. People actually respected others and their property.

I can only hope you recover your collection and that those who stole it are brought to justice.

It's a shame that so many bad things happen to such good people. With that said, don't let it change you. You are a great person with a generous soul. Karma will rear it's ugly head against those that have wronged you.

I'll be sure to keep an eye out.

All the best!

I hope that the person who did it is caught and braught to justice,

I hate to think it but it almost sounds like that the person who swiped your cards knew that you had them.
