Patrick Roy Collection

Congrats on the Distant Replay /100. I was watching that but it went well out of my range really fast towards the end.

It's been a very slow few weeks for me, I've been dialing back on the collection hoarding a bit. But when this came up, I had to go for it. I've been searching for these parallels for years with no luck. One of the Standing Ovation parallels:

Absolutely outstanding additions ! Still need to get the Mystery Gold Refractor into my collection at some point.

I was in on a few of those. That seller has been bringing some really nice cards to eBay as of late. Most are going well out of my range. I really wanted the Victory parallel but it just was too rich for my blood.

Great adds.

Yeah, I have a couple other cards I'm currently watching and then may have to tap out for a bit. Looks like prices have caught up on the Roy cards.

I got smoked again on a 97-98 Pinnacle Artist Proof ... one day ... one day !

I was watching that one, and couldn't believe it went that high. I don't know if that's a product of the environment, or the fact the seller had several Roy inserts/parallels listed that drove prices up.

It may be that card. I remember back in June, I believe I got outbid for even more on that particular card. All his Pinnacle Artist Proof cards command some fairly decent coin. I recall losing the 94-95 back in April for $99 ... thats right, a 1994-95 Pinnacle Artist Proof Patrick Roy went for over $100 dlvd on eBay, on bids.

Really opened my eyes for what to expect, which is always good, because I'd rather know a price range than just think I'll be able to get whatever I want or can for under $35.
