Got this baby from a board member at a reasonable price. Tokk me a while to get this although there are 900 of these. However this would be my most coveted Kovalchuk rookie.

My white whale was about 7 years long....guess it could've been shorter if I looked a bit harder.

Andy, these Stamp of Approval cards are really sharp looking in person!!
But, pretty hard to pull. Got a Cicarelli out of my 4 boxes.
My principal whales that I got are a Odjick Emerald /10 and a Odjick auto buyback gold. My scanner isn't working really well, so no scan.

My first speared white whale was the 2002-03 UD Mask Collection Patch of Dan Blackburn. This patch has the smallest print run (only 12) in the set, and eluded me for quite a while
. I managed to get it through the help of two HI-members (who else 
), who knew I needed the card and spotted it on a cardshow and contacted the dealer on my behalf 
.
Almost a year after obtaining this one, there were 2 others offered on eBay in one week's time (can you believe it?). I won both.
#10 went to a friend of mine, who also has completed the set now (second person besides me that I know of).
#12 I still have, so there can only be 11 completed sets out there!

As many of you know, I'm building the 04/05 UD Legendary Set... the master set... yep, all the friggin' cards... parallels, inserts, autos... plus the Summit Series (Canadian version inserts) AND the Miracle Men (US version inserts). As of today, I am TWO cards away from it.... TWO!!!! Thanks to Barrie (Prime) for pointing this card that was available on eBay:

I love the starquest cards, I remember opening those packs and going crazy when u pulled a starquest of a different color other than blue. even tho i only pulled one. still it was my best pull when i was younger.
i must say the yzerman is "SWEET!"
