That's one of the big downsides to PSA holders. Though they do seem to display well.Thanks i'll check it out. I might buy more of the cards in BVG and BGS. I have a hard time getting past the cheap look of the PSA slabs cheap looking labels and cards that move.
You're right there. Value-wise, PSA beats BVG/BGS with vintage hands down. I'm seeing that in modern stuff too. Do a search for McDavid or Crosby for example, and you'll a lot of the time PSA sells for more.BVG/BGS for Vintge is fine but when looking at a BVG vintage card compared to a PSA card the PSA card wins in condition/better market value. Card looks much nicer in PSA for condition. Think they grade much harder then BVG/BGS for vintage grading...
For example OPC Gretzky BVG 7 $12-$1400, PSA 7 $17-$2k+
