So far what i have accomplished...PIC HEAVY

This is definitely one of my favorite threads of the year. It's just so cool and one of those unsubscribable threads for me personally. Can't wait to see what else you post.

Thanks for the kind words Collin. This section of the site doesn't get much traction (as expected) so it's nice to get feedback, it is much appreciated. I've landed a "white whale" (for me at least) from the recent PWCC auction so I can't wait to get that one in. It will put to "bed" a particular decade I was working on.

You probably could still post your pickups in the Show And Tell section to gain more views and traction :) All cards should be viewed their ! :)
 
Love the Dionne and Messier, two sets I love. The Dionne comes from such a great set full of stars and big rookies and the Messier year was in my early collecting years and brings back great memories.

Thanks! The 71 set is favorite of mine ever since I was a kid. I think it was the cartoonish font lol

thanks Burt, that's very nice of you to say. I Just had my second child so now that i have 2 kids under the ages of 3 that will undoubtedly have an effect on my ability to purchase cards haha. That's OK though since I keep telling myself that this is a marathon and not a race. I think my next "big" purchase will be to buy another display case cause the one that I have only holds 50 cards (as you can see below). Unfortunately the only place that sells them is in the USA and the shipping is as much as the actual case.
