The JMFJ effect!

Seriously, after seeing his pathetic show of poor sprtsmanship at the WJHC in Vancouver, I don't like the guy. But, if he were to one day magically appear in an orca blue jersey, I would be one happy camper. The guy gets a bad rap from some Kings fans for sure.

He was a kid, KID, and there were plenty of "adults" in the stands who were much more pathetic in their actions then he was. :foottap: I remember Kesler having some pretty direct things to say about said fans as well?

Count me in as another person that would be happy to see Johnson traded to my team. Hopefully those Johnson haters can see get their wish because whoever would trade for him would be a getting a very good, very motivated player, at a very reasonable cap hit (4.357M).

Meh. People who liked TodBer turned into raving lunatics hoping he died a horrible death for one incident.

People who could care less about Matt Cooke were wishing him a horrible death after a legal check.

You don't like Bieksa because he pounds the crap out of people bigger than him.

I figure I should be allowed to not like (notice the difference) a player because he acted like a spoiled brat because he lost a game.

But hey, you and I never agree on this type of stuff.

you shouldn't like Johnson - he's on the Kings and he played for the US World Junior Team. that should be reason enough.

I'll make a deal with you, find me proof of spot picker "pounding the crap out of someone bigger then him", and I will drive up there and make you a cheesecake better then White Spots. We all saw what happened when a guy bigger then him (John Scott) challenged him, twice. :foottap:

Well, he did beat Voros. And technically, Patrick Marleau is bigger than him, height/weight-wise, though he's not known for it. Can i get some cheesecake?

I would, but I found too many instances and it woulld take too long to post them all.

Plus, you could NEVER make me a cheesecake that rivals White Spot's.

:D

Technically? An inch and 20 pounds. And, as we all know, Marleau threw down first, so the fact he is not known for it means nothing.

PATRICK MARLEAU IS THE TOUGHEST MAN ALIVE AND BIEKSA WAS LUCKY TO ESCAPE WITH HIS LIFE.

If you were somehow able to land a punch on Patrick Marleau, your entire arm would shatter upon impact. This is only in theory, since who in their right mind would try this?!

Like Kevin Costner said in JFK, theoretically physics can prove an elephant can hang from a cliff with his tail tied to a daisy....

Just so you know, while quantum physics would say this is true, if the elephant is being suspended fromt he daisy, and gravity is taken into account, Newtonian physics does not allow for this. If the elephant and diasy are independent of each other and are simply intertwined by atomic shifts, then yes, it could happhen.

Let me guess, next we are going to hear how Victor Stalberg is bigger and tougher then spot picker. I loved Bieksa's quotes during the Boston series, "I would have dropped the gloves during that mess but Marc Savard is on IR and I couldn't find Sergei Samsonov anywhere."

I'm not saying he isn't a spot picker. I'm just saying that yes, on occasion, he has fought "bigger" players. Now I want some damn cheesecake.

Driving to BC is easy, driving to NJ, well..... Here's one of the few "bigger" guys Bieksa fought, not a good outcome for the picker  - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pjCNzi_FO3g

One punched by super heavyweight Kostopoulus. :owned:

Also, Patrick Marleau and Superman once fought each other on a bet. The loser had to start wearing his underwear on the outside of his pants.

how has a thread about Jack Johnson turned into a bash the Canucks because they wont fight thread? only on HI...

Very easily, you get me and Randy together in a thread, no matter what it's about, we can turn it into Cancuks versus anything. In case you weren't aware, it is Bieksa's fault that White Spot stopped carrying cheesecake too.

We're just messing around, in reality this thread was done on page 1 and it has steadily gone downhill (or uphill in the fun department) with people all just messing with each other. Don't take everything so seriously, it helps.
