The last race of the year and the last race for Rusty Wallace. Rusty's Last Call has come to an end. Sure hate to see him go and even hate it more that Kurt Busch is going to drive his car.

Ford 400 Homestead

Nextel Cup Race Record
Bobby Labonte 116.868 11|16|03

Nextel Cup Qualifying Record
Jamie McMurray 181.111 2003

NASCAR racing made its debut in the Miami area in 1995, drawing a sellout crowd of 60,000 to its first event. The track has a $100 million annual impact on the local economy and draws more than 300,000 racing enthusiasts annually to the area.

I tip my hat to Rusty even if I don't root for him in on a weekly bases...would be great for him to go out on a win!!! jason

You know it is really sad to see Rusty go. Not many old timers left. Grew up watching Rusty. Then Rudd is leaving and Martin out next year. What then rout for Jarrett or Marlin.

A though crossed my mind. It has almost been five years since Dale Sr. fatal crash. :( That was the only time I have ever cried when someone famous died. Then two years later my only son was born on Feb. 18. :)

Quite Touching And Great That He Was Born On That Day...I Myself Cried The Day Sr. Died Very Sad Day...But Rusty Leaving Is Almost as Sad...And To Think Kurt Bush Is Gonna Drive For Roger Penske Jus Makes Me Sick...They Coulda Offered Michael Waltrip That Job...Hed Be The Better Man For It...But On A Better Note Whos to Say Jr. Dont Go Out With A Bang...I Think He Just Might...Go Jr...!

Tony sure didn't do himself any favors by a 20th start, but at least Johnson is much lower on the grid. I have butterflies just anticipating the race, want this one bad for Tony :)

Yeah, I think he is going to win it. Tony loves racing in Homestead and he doesn't make to many mistakes ever. He definately deserves it. I still don't want him to win though. lol

 ITS GOING TO HAPPEN LIKE THIS. THE GREEN FLAG FLIES. THEY GO INTO TURN 1 AND TONY GETS LOOSE. SLIDES UP THE TRACK AND HITS THE WALL BUT NOT TO BAD. SPINS TO THE BOTTOM WHERE JOHNSON PLOWS INTO TONY. BOTH THEY ONLY SEE TURN 2 FROM THE BACK OF THE WRECKERS AND EDWARDS IS YOUR ROOKIE NEXTEL CHAMPION..... TONY AND JIMMY WERE RELEASED FROM THE INFIELD CARE CENTER WITH ONLY HURT FEELINGS AND A BOX OF TISSUES. RUST WALLACE IS THE RACE WINNER AND SLIPPS INTO RETIREMENT.

That sounds good, well all except the Edwards deal. To bad Martin could not win it.

I will have the winners of all the prizes posted tomorrow when the results come up. Wait till then to see who walks away with some goodies.

Ah, the sweet smell of Coca Cola pouring down on a Champion :D The aroma of of one of your top 2 least liked drivers crashing into the wall with a blown tire :D Really doesn't get any better than this :)

Great finish between Biffle and Martin as well and nice effort by Edwards, he will win a championship in the next couple years.
