This week's "Kenny Fakes"

Wow... Clearly using patches from fake jerseys too. Many of those patches are going to look awful in person.

Wow thank you all for the detective work. Myself without your efforts would have bid on that Bjugstad Tony i am wondering how he has an address in Quebec as well as Ontario ?
Could be some simple answer just wondering.

Does anyone have a list of all his eBay ID's?

acer, tommyc, and poncho are the three being used at the moment. Mwdonald would know about past id's (a couple were changed to the current ones)

Hi,

The sellers in Quebec (dallaire and sport-collect) are not patch fakers - they unwittingly bought fakes from Kenny for resale.

Didn't you see I put (bought from Kenny)
But this guy bought more and more from Kenny recently.

Wow so this Kenny i been reading about here all years he still does this like nothing can touch him ? so crazy he should be in jail damn crook!

Just to learn from it...how can you see that they are fakes? They do not look like fakes to me, could you explain to me how you can identify such fakepatches? Thanks

I would also like to know, to avoid this in the future. Is there a photo-matching site somewhere to the corresponding card with the original patch?

I too would also like to know how to decipher between fake patches and real ones. I read once that a collector was throwing an idea for card companies to photo inventory high end patch cards to know when someone is trying to sell a fake one. But I am interested in finding out how to determine the difference.

Hello,

We know from tracking these accounts.

All 3 accounts:
1) use the same type of scan and cropping
2) use or have used the exact same item description
3) are located in ON
4) sell the occassional ridiculous Cup patch along with a bunch of low end stuff
5) list these ridiculous patches at the same time

There is also additional evidence in the form of changed user ID's with previous ID's linked to fake patch selling and suspicious contact info for at least one of the accounts (tommyc) that was changed by the seller when he was notified. Payment now goes to a generic "[email protected]" email.

I invited the seller to "clear his name" on the boards, but he declined.

So, it's circumstantial evidence, but if you follow the accounts you will probably agree with the conclusion. Could EVERYTHING be a coincidence? Yes, but that's not a position I would encourage anyone to take. I have bought from all 3 accounts before and I regret it...

It would be great if there were more of an "inventory". This is about as good as we get from UD:
