Torn on a trade offer. Whats your opinion?

I'll be trading the following:

Ryan Getzlaf / Corey Perry The Cup Dual Shields 1/1

I'll be receiving the following

2008-09 Wayne Gretzky The Cup Emblems of Endorsements /15 (both triple colored patches) + $100USD

Would you guys pull the trigger??
 
I'm not sure you'll get a fully comparable answer to what you are thinking, because the Getzlaf/Perry obviously means more to you than it would to most of us.

I'd take the Gretzky side
 
If I was a Getzlaf or Perry or Ducks fan I would keep the shields. If you regret it after, you'll never be able to truly replace it.

The dual shield definitely has some sentimental value, but I've been looking to sell it over the last year. Wasn't expecting a trade for it!

I'm leaning towards the Gretzky as well!

Its from 2010-11 The Cup
 
From a neutral view, I'd prefer the Gretzky.

Could changed based on what the cards actually look like. Do you have pics/scans of both cards?

Yeah.... i don't know... I prefer the shields now that I see them. Visually they look stunning. Too bad you can't see both shields at the same time if you place it in a case.

The Gretzky auto patch is sweet but I think is something you can obtain if you wanted to? It looks like there is some white on the top left side though? http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Wayne-Gretzky-Auto-Patch-The-Cup-/222596171369
 
Man, that's a tough one. If you're looking to move the Dual Shield, and it's a sorta-PC thing, you absolutely want to be 100% sure on the trade because there's no replacement or second copy out there. If you're waffling, I think that tells you what you need to know.

The Gretz is a damn sweet card though.
 
Keep the shields, they are 1/1's that you won't get back. Gretzky autos are always available, and some for a dang good price, or an easy trade. Unless it's that specific Gretzky card you want.

Not a ducks fan at all but if Gretzky was an oiler piece I would say yes but seeing it's a kings I'd prefer the Ducks shield.
 
I'd keep the Shields. There are 15 of the Gretzky out there. Actual sale value wise you would be better off with the Grezt, but it is also a card that can be acquired at some point without giving up the 1/1 Shields. Best of luck with you decision.
 
I'd keep the 1/1. There is a ton of Gretzky stuff out there. Plus Getzlaf and Perry are both going to be in the Hall of Fame. A legit 1/1 of 2 HOFers is worth more than a Gretzky/#15 and $100. Best of luck to you on whatever you choose.
 
I think it should be mentioned that if you have to think this long and hard about it, you probably shouldn't do it. Somewhere in the back of your mind you are thinking you want to keep that card, and obviously aren't 110% satisfied with the deal.

Unless you are sure, keep the shield so you don't feel any regret afterwards.
