The first McDonald's patch redemption closed today. A Lidstrom. Five copies.

Holy cow, Batman.

That certainly raises the bar.

We were watching it in chat - the winner raised his max bid 6 times in the last 2 minutes... he was NOT going to be denied.

He might have done that to make it look like he was serious, but raised it by the minimum amount each time. A few people do that to throw/scare potential bidders off to make it look like they're not going to be denied :)

I see that a*****b finished second at $809.09 ... I'm betting that was rabbity...if so...youse crazy Cary

Well...guilty as charged! Dang! I thought I'd bid enough to get it. My Ebay nemesis got his for a BIN of $169. Its enough to make me HOWL with frustration. Okay...I'm alright now. Well, sort of!

HOLY SWEET MOTHER OF MERCY!!!

I know someone who pulled a Lidstrom patch the other night, he asked me what it was the next day since he doesnt really collect.WOW

and this guys only busted a total of 35 packs

:( We get King Fu Panda toys at our McDonalds :(

I get something far more time consuming and burny from McDonalds...

That is unreal - I have yet to make it north to pick up a pack of Micky D's cards but it looks like it could be worth the trip - 1:1,000,000 odds (roughly) though, is that right?

wow thats a crazy amount for sure, im wondering what this auction will do to the rest and even the older patches from previous releases

It's Nick Lidstrom people! Best players ever!

Seriously though that is sweet profit! 1 buck becomes 800? I hope the buyer is in Canada or else how will he redeem it?
