cropped card
Hey there
Just a heads up on this whole cropped card thing. I have been buying up some vintage hockey on ebay the last month and a half. I have had several
cropped cards sent to me ..they looked fine in the posted scan but it is impossible to match up dimensions online. They are off about an 1/8 of an inch.
I see a lot of vintage stuff now that you can really tell has been altered.
As for the Orr ..I agree with Quincy. Be up front if you're selling or trading it ..and the final price will look after itself. As I'm sure you know ..beckett is a guide. I have seen older vintage sell way above BV. Like after Gump Worsley passed away, his OPC / Topps cards from the early 70's (that booked for 2.00 - 3.00) were selling for 25.00 or more. Habs vintage (and not just the stars) consistently sell at or above BV.
If you don't agree with a sell or trade price from anyone interested in the Orr ..hang on to it.
