Shooting Gallery was a great concept, you've got one the best with so much history of the Bleu, Blanc et Rouge on one cards.

So hard to pick just one from my collection. My favorite set is the woman's Going For Gold autograph, and jersey set, because it was something I did with my daughter, for her. I remember Quincy taking us over to meet you, Dr Price at one of the Expos back then. We searched the whole floor looking to complete her jersey, and auto set. We ended up going to ebay for the final pieces, and both sets are still here in our house. By the way, she is named after Cassie Campbell.

I have so many Franchise autos, BAP SS autos, and several Ultimate slabbed cards, but I think the one I enjoy the most is this stick card of the man, who's name is on the sign, where I buy my coffee every day. Such a great player, not many know how good he really was. Well some of us old guys will remember, lol. Coffee, and donuts etc are not bad, either.

I am right there with you when it comes to loving this autograph set.

I have to stick up for my designers, the hobby blasted them for their lack of ingenuity but I never thought so. Bravo guys and girls, where ever you are now.

Been a Neely fan since he first arrived in Boston, and wore #8 because of him when I played, so landing this card was a special moment, and when it finally arrived in my mailbox, I was overwhelmed with how awesome it is...

 
My favorite ITG card at the moment is my Nathan MacKinnon Halifax Mooseheads Complete Jersey:

Nate will wear many, many jerseys over his hockey career but only a handful will have been Mooseheads jerseys. I really wish collectors valued cards like this more highly because when you think about it these junior jerseys are much more rare in the long run.

And, you know, the Nova Scotia connection plays a part in my choice also, as does the 2013 Memorial Cup victory :D
 
Your first superlative release made me so excited for the hobby...but I was a teenager (16 I think) and didn't have the means to attain any of those cards. This one ended up in my collection however and I loved it! It's in a different collection now, but still a great card....

First of all. Thanks for the contest Brian. It's a real treat getting to see some of the outstanding cards that have made permanent homes in people's collection's. Over the years, there have been some spectacular cards produced by In The Game. I should know, as I've primarily focussed and collected ITG singles. So this is a tough decision to post only 1 card. As I feel there are many cards in my collection that would fit the criteria. Either way, I've made my decision. And feel this may be one of the best vintage game-used pieces to ever be produced. Something that will be extremely difficult to duplicate. And I'm more than happy to have it in my collection. Enjoy!

How did you obtain this jersey?! Just crazy to think where this has been. Thanks for producing all those nameplate cards. My collection would be bare without ITG

I had to think a bit about this as I have many nice Bobby Clarke and Bernie Parent pieces from ITG, but I think this is my favorite as it is a patch piece from a defunct team and it's pretty cool just to be able to own something like this!

I've already submitted my favourite ITG card over at SCF, but I will take the opportunity to show off my favourite ITG "mission accomplished" a little later today.
 
He's from the middle of nowhere in Labrador City, NL and didn't turn into an NHL regular (3 NHL games, 2 wins, 0.950 save %, 1.54 GAA) but this is my favorite ITG card I own. Everyone who grew up in Labrador idolized Dan LaCosta for getting drafted to the NHL in 2004.

This one's from the 2009-10 Between the Pipes, so after his professional debut, but it's even more special because Dr. Price asked this forum who they want to see in the Masked Men set. Being a naive 16 year old, I asked him to include LaCosta, and he did! I was thrilled when the checklist was announced to see my favorite goalie in the set.

Thank you Dr. Price for listening to collectors throughout the years, no matter what their age and thanks for putting off this contest.

I will be honest that I miss the old ITG incredibly, and now with Panini also out of the game, per se, the only thing keeping me interested in cards this year is the McDavid hype.

But back to In the Game! From the licensed days, this is by far my favorite card that they have ever made. Even though the subset had issues with edge chipping on the rear, the design was beautiful and this was one of the first cards to have such huge goalie memorabilia swatches on them and to also be so limited. Even though I have since stopped collecting Irbe cards and instead focus now on my Goaltending Museum (partially inspired by some of the exhibits that Dr. Price and company have shown off at expos), this card will always remain in my hands no matter what. This will be the one card that I will carry with me into the post-apocalyptic Mad Max wasteland, a time capsule for generations to come and a reminder of my favorite time in hockey card collecting:



But don't be fooled by this card alone, so many great cards and sets have come out by ITG since before and after the 2004-05 lockout.
 
This one hit home for a couple reasons - my dad and I were able to watch Brian Lee play a few times when he was in high school and at the World Juniors. He then went to play for North Dakota which is my home town team - being able to pick up this card with this patch was pretty exciting and it remains one of the favorite cards I have in my collection.




I am pretty excited for this release - haven't picked up an ITG case probably since 1980s Decades and haven't picked up a case of anything in over two years but just put my order in for one of these. Thanks!
