Final Vault Contest

So hard to pick! I have to go with one of my first ever memorabilia cards - has it really been 16 years???

Thanks for the contest!

Im not a MTL fan at all but this has to be one of my favourites. I suggested this idea in the thread you made about UM 10 and i now only need one card to complete the set (Leclair)

Well, I got into collecting a bit later on in the game and missed out on a ton of beautiful ITG stuff.

That being said, my budget isn't quite what some people's is but that didn't stop me from acquiring some beauties for my PC. They may not be as high end as some of the stuff here, but they are amongst my favourite PC pieces.

Nobody picks awesome swatches like ITG.

This was the first Patrick Roy card from ITG that I added to my PC, and you would be disgusted at how much I had to trade for it, but I wanted it so badly that it didn't matter. The design is one of my favourites, from one of my favourite sets.

Short printed, /9

Also from the licensed era, easily my favorite subset ever made. Beautiful design featuring the all time greatest from the Habs roster. Also most players had at least a few copies with really excellent swatches whether it was nice leather pieces with personality or many nice 3 color jerseys.

ITG made some incredible cards over the years and none were more intriguing than the MTO program and my favourite, The Complete Jersey card. Still, IMO, those took a back seat to card in my signature. That Barilko card is EASILY my all time favourite ITG card and one I heavily regret selling.

I found the jersey version early on. This is the only one of these I've seen.

One of my all time favourite cards

This is my favorite ITG card, and also my favorite card in my collection.

I think the 'complete jersey' is the best concept and innovation that ITG created. This came out of my favorite products ITG has made. This card also kickstarted my Tokarski collection after watching the World Juniors in 2009.

Thank you for this contest, and for work in the hobby Brian.

Thanks for the contest Brian. Great to see all of these cards. This one is my favorite of the cards I own. He is my PC guy and I really, really wanted one of these when they first came out. I bought a lot of that years H&P to try to get it. It took me a while to actually get one, and and now I have two. :)

Thanks again,
Pete

Dr Price,

Thank you for the contest. This will be an amazing thread showing off all of the beautiful cards ITG has made over the years. I would have been 12-13 years old (only a few years into collecting) when you lost your license and I remembering thinking at the time what a shame it was.

It was difficult decision to choose a single card for this thread. I decided to post this card over some of the 1/1's I have because always loved the design. Everything from the 'jersey' border to the large number 14 to the close up of Stajan, etc. To me the design just pops!

2003-04 BAP Ultimate Memorabilia Autographed Numbers #126 /20

Best of luck with the final release

My favorite non NHL-licensed ITG card (I still consider this card as my best card in my entire collection, just tells everything!)

I was actually going to posting 2nd card with the tag "My favorite NHL-licensed ITG card" but changed my mind in the last minute...
It's a copy of 00-01 BAP Memoraiblia Georges Vezina card with Barrasso....it's a very difficult decision to not be able post that beauty here but rule is a rule in the end....

As many others have already stated, it's difficult to pick just one great card from ITG to show.

I'd like to show this one. While it's not the most valuable card in terms of price, I have a great deal of sentiment behind it. This card represents my first venture into the world of ITG cards, and my first time at buying a "high-end" product. At the time the thought of spending $100 on a single card seemed outrageous. I thought the VIP brand was a cool concept, thus I still have the original packaging, including the VIP sleeve that kept the tin closed.

In all those years , my favourite products were probably 03/04 ITGU and 04/05 Ultimate Memo . It is very tough to pick one particular card , but having to choose one that I did pull myself , I`d go with this Steve Yzerman Complete JSY : ;)

of all the licensed BAP/ITG cards that i've acquired through the years,it's ironic that my favorite card is from a more current unlicensed set.

design,aesthetics,memorabilia etc.i'd put this card toe to toe with any of "The Cup" offerings through the years.simply put,the Perfect card.
btw,thanks for everything Dr.Price,it's been a very fun ride!:beer::beer:

Pacman69;

Oh the Bobby Orr days.

Had a wonderful relationship with Bobby until he was signed exclusively.

Moose#11;

A spectacular card even though my designers had their hands tied behind their backs due to the licensing situation.

Great image of The Rocket.

For me this card says everything about ITG, hard signed, vintage mem of players overlooked by other companies.

I will be hunting down all versions of this card for years as there are so many to chase but I love that and years after the chase is still a huge part of the fun.

I really miss ITG and its outlook on the hobby and its relationship with the collectors.

Thanks Dr P, and I wish I had pulled your card from this product!

The 2004/2005 ITG Franchises Autograph set remains my all time favourite autograph set. Clean, simple design with lots of room for signatures. The checklist is second to none with many first time signers. These were some of the first NHL autographs I ever picked up.

So many to pick from but has to be from Between The Pipes. This is the set that really hooked me in as it was all goalies and gave me the best chance to pull Patrick Roy cards (outside of the Passing the Torch set which was also awesome).

This is the one I keep coming back to over and over:

Has my PC guy with Vezina, Plante, Vachon and Price! Oh yeah Huet is there too. lol

Thanks for the contest and years of great cards.
