HELLO PEOPLE!!!!

Before I get into it, the fourth card my little Supreme Patches quad finally arrived. 39 days from Quebec, absolutely outrageous eh?

So we moved, and it went pretty smoothly, all things considered. And now we're mortgage-poor ahahahahaaa.

In between the move and our first humungous payment we used up the last of the concert tickets that we'd bought previously. A trip to the PNE, where I ate AMAZING ribs & brisket......

.......and we saw Cyndi Lauper, who turned out to be a really good show. Go figure.........

And then we had nosebleed seats for Foo Fighters, but it was all good with the giant screens........

Then there's the house...... Amy was nice enough to offer me my own room in exchange for her getting to do whatever she wanted with the rest of it. Like an idiot, I agreed to it. Welcome to our living room...........:speechless:

Foofy X1000. I swear, one a' these days I'm gonna come home and she'll be sitting there having tea with Queen Elizabeth............

Then there's my room, which is pure chaos.

The only thing I've managed to do is three sets of shelves.........

And that's all I have room for. There's no attic or cellar anymore, so everything (books, DVDs, souvenirs etc) has to cram into this 10X12 space, which it obviously won't. Plus the display case doesn't move well on the carpeting so ima have to get wheels or something for it.

So............. last night I chose my most-painful-to-get-rid-of binder, my 2008/09 UD Habs Centennial set, and I scanned it up and I spent today listing it on the eBay. And next week I'll d the same with my autograph binder, and then the memorabilias and so on until one day I'll have nine Ryan Kesler binders and a handful of other cards that'll all fit in here nicely and I'll be ok, right?

Thanks for letting me blab, y'all are therapy

Great looking place! Congrats on that. Once you get your space figured out, I'm sure it'll look great (and not have as much 'floof' as you say).

I think once you're down to your Kesler binders and some odds & ends, I think you'll be so much more content with your collection. That's where I'm at right now (2 binders for Enroth's/1 binder for the rest of the PC & some traders/1 binder for sets), and I really enjoy it. So much neater and I can actually enjoy the few stuff you do have rather than have to dig through the mess are cards like before.

Those Kesler Supreme's look great, by the way.

Please take that Gretzky rookie out of the screw down very very carefully. Any humidity issues and you will be unhappy

It ain't a rookie, it's a mis-printed proof.

Priceless? Worthless? No idea...........

If you can prove it’s a misprinted proof. Priceless to the right buyer.::::please don’t put it back in there. I’ll send you a one touch

I can't prove anything, I bought it off a eBay seller years ago who had a lot of weird Gretzky stuff for sale, including a "signed" Visa receipt and a full-page NY Times retirement press plate. I have no reason to doubt its authenticity, and I'm not planning on selling it :D

In any case, it's not screwed in tight, I taped it to the back hahahahaa.

I'm most impressed with the Milk & Cheese souvenirs! Don't see those everyday on this site.

Nice Nucks quad auto too.

I used to have all the 1st printings of the comic books (stolen in the great storage locker heist) but I still have the trinkets. And the t-shirts :D

Yeah those eBay fees are getting crazy, I assume you didn’t add in what PayPal takes did you

Nope! PayPal's chunk is sort of reasonable though, comparitavely speaking. Plus they snatch it right away so it's sort-of not like I had it to begin with hahahaa.

Some great sales. This set continues to have held value. As I downsize my collection it will be the highlight of the Habs stuff I keep. Great to see one set I own accrue value.

Very nice place.
Congrats
I saw Cyndi about 15 years ago she was pregnant at the time and still put on a crazy show.
Jealous I couldn't make the Foo's this year. (Damn job) lol.
Your hobby room looks like mine.
Just started cleaning it up too.
Happened to fall upon these
