I love these older Trilogy Scripts with autos on Avery Label. I have a couple in my PC.

My 2012-13 O-Pee-Chee Black & White (Complete Set of 36!)

These were a "surprise" hit in 2012-13 OPC with no stated odds on the packaging. The numbers I later found on the 'net were 1:960 Hobby Packs (so 1 in 30 hobby boxes, or 1 in 2½ hobby cases!)

Upper Deck included a surprise insert in 2012-13 O-Pee-Chee NHL that wasn’t on the checklist. As the name suggests all the picture are black and white, in addition to a deckled edge with a facsimile autograph on the front of the card. There are no real autographs version of these cards, according to Upper Deck.

According to Beckett.com, in hobby packs, the black and white cards fall at a rate of 1 in 960 packs. On the retail side, they fall at a rate of 1 in 1,920 packs (so 1 in 30 hobby boxes, or 1 in 2½ hobby cases!)

I can't imagine there's many complete sets out there. There was a eBay seller who broke his set and sold as singles about 7-8 months ago. So, that's one less complete set in existence!

Only 3 of 'em were my own hits/pulls; the rest came from eBay, forums, and Kijiji.

My set would be the 12-13 UD base set w/o the RC's. It took 6.5 boxes to complete it pulling every card from a pack. Small strike shortened season set but a bear to get the last card in the set...a common no less (Sbisa!!!). Still only have 1 complete set.

I did pull a few great cards including 4 or 5 YG canvas, a 300 win club, a patch, Yakupov RC Trade, and a pride of from a total of 7.5 boxes.


One card from my Classis set in my signature. Still just need Pavel. He hasn't popped up ebay lately and every time that I see that he does, it is usually after it is sold. My stitch set will be great when finished...look for it in 2020!!!

I like how you eventually pulled every card yourself from those packs. Base sets are always fun sets!
