I'm currently at 99.5% for my pride and joy Lord Stanley's Mug master set (excluding 1/1's of course). I've put together collages for all the subsets, hope you enjoy!
First up, the 100 card base set.
Next, the one-per-box History subset.
The mammoth 285 card autograph set.
From the regular memorabilia cards I've got 358 out of 359...
First up the Cup Records subset (most are x/80 but Middleton and one of the Roy's are SP)
Mug Shots (all x/60)...
Hoisting the Cup (all x/60 except the Rocket Richard SP)...
Cup Winning Goal (Modern cards are x/80, '72 and earlier are x/9)...
Cup Rivals (Most duals are x/80, quads are x/40, but the oldest of each are SP x/9 as are all the sixes). I'm still missing one card here, the 1974 Philly/Boston sixes...
Cup Holders (Most duals are x/80, triples are x/50, but the oldest of each are x/9 as are all the quads)...
Back to Back Cups (New ones are x/20, vintage are x/9)...
Cup Winning Tandems (All are x/10)...
Ring Leaders (all are x/9)...
Conn Smythe Winners (all are x/9)...
Legendary Cup Moments (all are x/10)...
Next up, there are 175 gold parallels - basically every memorabilia card above that was not x/10 or less has a gold parallel x/10. While I've completed most of the subsets, I'm still missing 3. There are also 1/1 gold parallels of all the x/9 Silvers from above, I've got quite a few, but nothing approaching a complete set so I won't show those here.
Cup Records Gold (all x/10 - complete set excluding the Middleton and Roy 1/1's)...
Mug Shot Gold (all x/10)...
Hoisting the Cup Gold (all x/10 - complete subset excluding the Rocket Richard 1/1)...
Cup Winning Goal Gold (all x/10)...
Cup Rivals (all x/10) - this is my biggest sore thumb, missing a whopping two cards from this subset, ironically both are from 1990 - the dual Ranford/Moog and the Quad Ranford/Kurri/Bourque/Neely.
Cup Holders Gold (all x/10) - missing the 1991 Triple of Lemieux/Jagr/Coffey...
Back to Back Gold (all x/10)...
Approaching the end... now one of my favourite subsets, the tribute to Henri Richard's record 11 Stanley Cups. One auto, one rival, and one teammate card from each year he won the cup - all are silver x/10 versions. I've also got 10 of the 33 gold 1/1 versions, but we'll stick with showing the completed silver subset.
Now a little detour to a non-pack-inserted set from the Spring Expo - possibly one of the nicest Expo exclusive sets ITG ever did. Here is the complete 120 card silver x/9 set - especially love the vintage cards here! There are also gold 1/1's of every single card, but I had to set my limits somewhere and haven't been chasing them.
Last but not least - while it'll be impossible to complete the true 1/1 sets, as a bonus show I think these are too nice not to include...
First up the Memorabilia / Autograph 1/1's - there were originally 100 on the checklist, but two were removed shortly before the product released, here are 27 out of the 98 card set.
I can't believe I wasn't enamoured with these guys at first, and unfortunately passed on some of them off the bat, but I've been making up for last time scooping up as many as I can, including lucking out with my greatest group break score of my life (the Rocket Richard). The Gretzky and Orr ain't too bad as well, but I'll never get tired of looking at the Rocket! Here are 22 out of 60 Game Used Stick 1/1's.
And finally, what could top those sticks? Why perhaps some of the nicest jumbo sized memorabilia cards ITG has made - the Mega Patches! To date I've managed to acquire exactly 30% of the set - 33 out of 110 of these 1/1 beauties. Quite a few of them are drool worthy, but it's hard to top the Mr. Hockey!
Finally, I managed to complete the History subset with special foil redemption stamps on the back into this Bobby Clarke autographed beauty (surrounded by some of my favourite cards from the set) - and I've since been adding autographs of other Cup winners to it (Larry Robinson and Guy Lafleur so far). I've been trying to reacquire the redemption cards to complete the true master set, so far I've got 38 out of 45 (assuming they were all equally inserted, from the ratio they seem to fall at I believe there are only a handful of each left given that all 11 autographed cups were claimed thus removing the majority of the redemption cards from circulation).
