Patch forger... caught! gomaz would be proud ;)

Isn't it strange that he forged the Bergerone. It actually wasn't too bad a patch in the first place .... Great job tracking this down. This guy seems to have crossed all possible "yeah but" lines.

I don't write here too often.
Thanks for the information. Bu that's a shame that you can't trust in patch cards. Yesterday I watched a video about fake sticker autos. There will be only the hard signed autos lefto for me :( Where does this hobby go? Can't find words. This is brutal.
Sorry for those who boght from these.

Good morning everyone, just reading this while eating my breakfast,i'm having a slice of cardboard and side order of crow:badmood:

I've always wondered how some can technically do that, I mean the swatchwindow, like on that Spezza for example, it must be almost impossible to manipulate without damaging the card

I dont even know if i should say anything here, because i know the seller personally, i can say we are actually good friends

I am shocked after I saw this and I dont know what to say about it, I can say he is a honest, good guy in person

I will try to get a hold of him in the next couple of days and see what he says, i hope he will step up and post on here

Good luck on that Tommy.......good thing his daddy has deep pockets eh!;)

One question for Ebay. Why do they allow sellers to keep their feedback private and allows the seller to block a link between the item and the feedback.? They are basically allowing any notification to some buyer there are problems with the seller. I will often look at feedback when I'm buying. In this case there could be feedback saying the patches were a fake and you would have no way of finding out.

I know sometimes they pull the patch out of the window to fake it but how in the hell did he fake that Kipper from OPC Premier?

Incredible...and sad. It's amazing what some people will do to make a few extra bucks on an already-premium product.

Hats off to everybody for their detective work in catching this individual.

Well ,this is the progression of cheats that always hangs over our hobby. It'll be interesting how card companies react to this and take the necessary steps to prevent this from happening( tamperproof cards, scans of all original patches before it's sent to the consumer). My guess,it will be a very long time.

It's a shame

Congrats to everyone involved in providing evidence that this guy is an active scammer. This is why I long ago decided to collect very few memorabilia cards. Base, parallels and autos for me!

I totally agree that eBay should kill private feedback - all it does is arouse suspicion. When I get offers on my stuff from private feedback people, I immediately contact them to ask why it is private. If I don't like it, I don't sell. Never, ever, ever will I buy from someone with private feedback.

Great job to everyone who worked on this - hope some punishment arises from it!

I'm pretty sure I know who this guy is, and if the allegations are true, I'm shocked. I've bought from him before on here, but I have no concerns about my patch card being faked. I hope the truth comes to light and that appropriate action is taken by all parties involved. I see he's been on today, interested to see if we'll hear his side of things.

The sad thing is, I think this could really drive even more people out of the hobby. Too bad really.

EDIT: Come to think of it, I may have bought from him at the Expo. I do have concerns now that THAT card may be fake.
