Agreed, but it seems like the ransom Burkey put on Kaberle last week scared away a pile of GMs. Someone suggested that he might be headed to New Jersey though and they are LOADED with young forwards. Possibly a package including Travis Zajac??
 
Your first mistake is believing what Burke says.

He was a lawyer. He is a GM. These people keep things tight to the chest. They know how to play the media and the like.

NO GM ever shows his cards. Burke is trying to reel back in the incredibly high expectations people like you (sorry to point you out) have put on this deadline. Re-building is a marathon, not a sprint. They will deal Kaberle and/or Kubina eventually it just might not be tomorrow.
