Final Vault Contest

Snoozedude;

Hard to believe but I actually remember cutting that piece of memorabilia.

PS; This celbrates my 2,000th post on Hobby Insider.

OK so I'm a morning late....like I said earlier, I'm already entered the SCF version but I do want to show off this little cornerstone portion of the Price PC. The 2007 World Juniors really put Carey Price on the hobby map, and after I got back into the hobby O Canada was a great break. It took me six years to assemble all of these, with the Emblem being the final piece of the puzzle--one of the most stressful eBay auctions ever. What a tremendous little time capsule of a career highlight.

Cheers!

It's not the highest end or most beautiful card in my hockey collection but probably the most relevant. I became a bit of a Mike Cammalleri fan watching him play in the World Juniors years ago.

I then sort of dropped off the hockey map for a bit while I was in school and getting in the workplace. Eventually, I started working for eBay and because of it, I was constantly on the site which reignited my sports card collecting. One day I started looking for this Mike Cammalleri fellow that I remembered from years ago and saw that not only had he made it to the NHL, but he was drafted by the LA Kings, my 2nd favorite team. Then I saw this and had to purchase it.

This was the start of a collection that I hit hard fulltime for 4 years and still occasionally add to. So...nothing fancy or high end and I do have much "nicer" ITG pieces in my collection, but this is the most special one:

This might be the best card in this entire thread. I didn't think anything beat that Richard Cup sickness, but this is Filthy.

As an aside, I am shocked that the DR. Price card hasn't surfaced yet; I saw one pulled at the LCS back in the day!!!

I agree, that card is just pure filthness!

What an incredible display of cards and I'm sure many of us have many more amazing pieces stashed in our PC. Thanks Dr. Price for getting me back in the hobby in 2006/07 with the ITG Ultimate release. I always suspected that Maurice Rocket Richard was one of your favorite, since so many subsets were featuring him. Here is one of my favorite card you definitely can capture the intensity of the Rocket in this one. By the way Dr. Price there is 5 versions of this card I've never seen the last one can you help?

Thanks
Sebas

These Price's are great!

I want to exclude Chilychow - just because it simply is not fair:whatthehell::whatthehell:

And because it is obvious the equipment manager forgot to do the laundry!

I had a tough time picking a favourite pack inserted card, but this one is unique in my PC

But, by far, this card my most favourite card in my collection. I love how you and your company even used a Team Canada theme.

Thank you for the contest and all the wonderful cards in my collection.

great idea for a thread and a tough choice to pick one. I had to go with the 09/10 BTP Complete Package - looked so go I had to put the set together!

Very difficult to choose just one, but since there are so few Dryden cards out there, this really is a cornerstone piece:

A beautiful piece from an amazing case of Stickwork!

I think my favourite ITG release was International Ice, putting together the stick and jersey subset was really fun for me.

http://s965.photobucket.com/user/hoju71/library/ITG Int Stick and Jersey?sort=6&page=1

But my favourite ITG card is the one of my favourite player, it was probably my first high end purchase and I felt a little woozy after for the amount it cost me at the time. I love this patch.

Just scanning through my bucket and most of my favourite vintage cards are ITG, thanks for the contest and thank you for releasing all of these great cards that everyone is showing off.

Matches;

Always had fun using the Team Canada theme.

It was a thrill to have the Hockey Canada license for a couple years and make the first trading card set with the Womens' National Team.
