I like the physical play of the US, seeing Heatley nearly go into the bench was beautiful. Crosby got taken out a couple times, which was nice.

Only goal caused by defensive breakdown by EJ. Had the easy pass to the winger, and tried to be cute passing it to the other D-man in front of the net. Seen it way too many times as a Blues fan. Still a long way to go in this one.

Well getting to watch the game on TV in the UK is always a bonus, watching these two teams go at it is even better!

Ok first period but to be fair to both teams a pretty nervy start.

How Luongo got away with his huge interferance play in the first 5mins is beyond me, should have been an easy call.

Bobby Lou also very lucky with his save at the post that sat just behind him on the line.

Sharp play from Towes to get the goal, great reactions from a guy I fullky expect to see in this years Stanley cup final.

Lets hope we see something more in the secon period!
