Which current or former player would make the biggest splash if he suddenly started signing?

It's got to be Ken Dryden, right? Certified Habs autos would bring huge dollars.

I would think Paul Kariya would be a big deal as well. I know he's signed for BAP in the past (stickers in 2009 being most recent I believe) but nothing really high-end. I could see nice Mighty Ducks patch/autos getting pretty crazy if it ever happened.

Any other stingy big-name or fan favourite signers you'd like to see with a pen in their hand?

George Armstrong and Ken Dryden share the same belief about signing on trading cards.

I have been trying to get both for more than 20 years.

Well, if you couldn't get them to sign nobody will. It's a bummer but I guess they've got their reasons.

Dryden is a big one. Could you even imagine ?

Even if he signed for just one release it would be awesome. It would still keep his value high if the autos were SP'd, and Habs collectors would go crazy. Win-win in a perfect world.

Maybe not everyone knows his name, but George Armstrong would be great.

Like the poster above, George Armstrong. If you do not know the name google it.

Good points on Armstrong, he was a great Maple Leaf and a pioneer. Imagine if he signed Leafs centennial cards... Yikes.

Yes, I thought George Armstrong!!

So my George Armstrong auto on this Bob Pulford stick....

...should be worth.....one million dollars!

Dryden would definitely have the most impact, but The Chief (George Armstrong) would have a surprising amount of people clamoring for his autograph too.

I would think that pretty much everyone else of consequence (that's still alive Ryan) has signed stuff out there, though in varying quantities.
